At just shy of my 53rd birthday…the PURPOSE today for me to make the time to train and take care of my

body…my health is simply this:

I get the luxury of not NEEDING to worry about the status of my health while I lay next to my wife at night…

falling slowly into a 7 hour slumber.

Our three boys get pretty solid role models through my wife Kathy and I who both live and do not ‘force feed’ them a strong and healthful lifestyle.

It’s amazing how practicing consistency and meaningful time with a barbell transcends the four walls of a gym.

And lastly…The purpose or necessity for me to ‘look’ the way I do is so that I am recognizable as someone who may be

able to give a 40…50…60 year old someone some guidance to help them find their own ‘place’ in strength and health.
